About lys

Lys works at the cutting edge of brain-computer interfaces (BCI), pursuing fundamental AI and neuroscience research. We build hardware in-house, at our office in Sofia (Bulgaria). Ours are some of the best investors in Silicon Valley, including early DeepMind and SpaceX backers.

Prior to building Lys, Nicole pursued BCI research in academia under the supervision of Bettina Sorger, Thomas co-founded an AI startup now worth hundreds of millions, and Anthony was pursuing a PhD in astrophysics. We are a tight-knit team and have known each other for about a decade.
